In the February/March issue of Traditional Home, Krissa Rossbund has set a lively table for breakfast, including spring-like colors to brighten the winter months. She also incorporates Amanda Comports and Roxie Double-Old Fashioned Tumblers, both from the William Yeoward Crystal collection.
As usual, Krissa gives her readers a bit of “how-to” for setting the scene, including our Amanda Comport (above on the bottom right and below) which would elevate the look and charm of any table setting. By the way “Compote” and “Comport” are synonymous – in my experience, Americans tend to use the former term, while the Brits tend to use the latter. ”You say toe-MAY-toe, and I say toe-MAH-toe”!
In a beautiful wide shot of the table, we see that our Roxie Double Old-Fashioned Tumblers are part of the lovely setting. These gorgeous glasses are every bit as home on a table filled with water or juice, as they are on a bar with a cocktail poured in them!
Below is a more detailed view of the table. Are you ready for bacon and eggs, or muffins with jam?
